So, what are the plans for Matric 2012?

If you came to this site looking for information about Matric 2012, then you have made the right choice and came to the right place. The year 2012 is here and presents us with yet another important academic year, Matric 2012. Have you seen how curious everyone becomes when it is time for the Matric results to be released? I mean even those who don’t know what Matric is, do know of the day the Matric results are going to be released, funny isn’t it? Even though this might seem like we are all concerned about our Matrics, the reality is we are not. Some of us only remember that there is Matric when the Matriculants are writing their exams or when the results are about to be released. If we are really concerned then we would be more involved as a society to make sure that our children’s future is a success. The reason I am saying this is because I know that some parents don’t follow up on their children’s school work and this a huge negative impact on the result that the child will achieve at the end of the year. What I am trying to say here is that charity begins at home and if our Matrics and the society don’t act together then we will never achieve anything out of the ordinary; we will just be stuck with blaming our teachers and the government. Yes I do agree that teacher and the government are big stakeholders of our education system and the fact is so are we. We are just as equally important as they are and if we fail to play our part, then we should not shift the blame. Michael Jackson once said “If you want to make the world a better place, first look at the man in the mirror and make that change”. After all who is government and teachers, aren’t they human like us?

peer pressure vs society vs matric performance

I was having a chat with a friend of mine about the level of education in this country and we ended up chatting about matrics and at the end we were left with these thought that could have us debating non stop.is it the technology changes that are affecting our youth or just peer pressure?.Come weekend you see under age school children drinking as i f there is no tomorrow is it the tavern owners fault , ill disciplines children or peer pressure??.Take a look  at the state of the art advanced phones like blackberry they have  people at their fingertips 24/7.it doesn’t make it any better that if you don’t have a smartphone you are not cool,so still peer pressure seems to be the course.at the end of the day its the society vs individual goals that each and every child has.

Matric 2012

The 2011 hype is finally over and long awaited 2011 matric results are finally out and many of us seem to be disappointed rather than proud! The big question is: Who do we blame? Do we blame the society as a whole or do we shift the blame to certain individuals and Organizations? Once again, the 2011 matric results have managed to raise a lot of race and political questions and finger pointing certain people and political organizations, and yet I doubt if this will solve the problem at hand. I think that we need to start looking at such issues differently. Anyway, to those of you who did not make it in  2011, don’t beat yourself about it, failure is not the end of the world, you can still give Matric another shot. Remember that failure is part of life and that I does not matter how many times you fall, but I does matter how many times you get up and stand again.
